10” enameled metal and diecast 2-4-2 loco, made late 1930’s is original gunmetal gray with chrome/nickel trim. It is late version with all-black wheels and 249 on plates with no “E”. By the late 1930’s all locos had E-units, so no need to advertise it on number boards. Loco looks original/complete, with solid/straight frame, good pilot teeth, all original castings and wheels. Finish has light wear, some dirt, some wear on trim. There are minor corrosion spots, mainly on pony trucks and motor sides, shows minor clean-up. Loco only in listing, it ran, reversed and light worked when bench-tested, as is, no operation warranty due to age.
