Description

This toolset is intended to assist in the installation of modern sealed bearing type headset crown races ( base plates ). The aluminum driver is chamfered on one side to fit most 1 1/8″ parts while the other side will fit 1″ races. The tube is ABS plastic, 12″ long and is intended to be struck with a soft hammer or mallet only. I have found that it doesn’t take much force to seat the race, but it is important that the force is applied evenly. I chose a plastic tube to keep the cost of the tube and shipping costs low.
